I really love to read, I haven’t been always a huge fan of books when I was a kid I preferred TV and movies. But the older I got I started to like to idea of sitting on the couch with a blanket, a cup of tea and a good book. But somehow I most of the time don’t allow myself to take even a half an hour to just sit down and read. While living in London I bought different books but I just can’t find, or not making the time to actually sit down and read them.
A huge factor in these situations is my habit of lover-using my phone; I’m literally addicted to checking my phone, which is quite a big problem, but that is a topic for another time. Let’s get back to the books!
I created a small list of books I want to finish before Christmas, I just have to make sure that reading becomes a daily habit so that I will be able to finish the next titles.
1.) THE LIFE-CHANGING MAGIC OF NOT GIVING A F*CK – SARAH KNIGHT
I treated myself for my birthday in April this year, while living in London at this book. I am someone who cares a lot about what other people think, and this book might give me some tools on how to change that.
2.) DIANA ‘HER TRUE STORY’ – ANDREW MORTON
A book about the life of Lady Di, to me she always had something magical, which is why I want to learn more about her life and who she was.
3.) THE SUMMER’S END – MARY ALICE MONROE
This is a book that caught my eye at the Miami airport a few years ago, I purchased it a few weeks ago to finally read it.
I will focus on creating a sort of routine in it so that it will become part of my everyday life, I will keep you guys posted!
